Sheikh Hameed is the Chairman of Investrade. He is also Chairman and founder of several institutions in the region which include Saba Islamic Bank, Sabafon GSM, Al Ahmer Group, Yemen Gas Company and Yemen Saudi Company for Semantic. He is also a Board member of Madu in Turkey. Sheikh Hameed holds a Bachelor degree with Honors in Economics from Sana’a University, Yemen, and an honorary Doctorate in Islamic Economic Development from Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan.
Sheikh Mohammed is the Vice Chairman of Investrade and Chairman of its Executive Committee. Prior to Investrade, Sheikh Mohammed held numerous leading positions in the Oil & Gas sector where he was the Director of Oil & Gas in the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) in Bahrain. He was also a Board member of Bahrain Aviation Fuelling Company (BAFCO) in Bahrain. Sheikh Mohammed holds a Bachelor degree in Management from Suffolk University in Boston Massachusetts, USA, and a Master degree in International Law from the University of Westminster, London, UK.
Mr. Mohammed is a Board member of Investrade. He is also the Chairman of Saba Islamic Bank in Yemen and the Director of Internal Audit at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2011. Prior to ICD, he was Vice President and Senior Audit Manager at the National Commercial Bank (NCB) for many years. Mr. Alammari holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from King Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and two Master degrees in Finance and in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urban Champaign College of Business, USA. He also holds several professional qualifications such as CPA, SOCPA, CIA, CMA, CFM and CBA.
Mr. Abdulla is a Board Member of Investrade and its Chief Operating Officer (COO) with approximately twenty years of experience in the financial and banking sector. Prior to Investrade, Mr. Abdulla was the Head of International Investments and Treasury of Saba Islamic Bank in Yemen. Prior to that, he was the Head of Treasury of Arab Bank in Yemen. Mr. Abdulla is currently a Board member of Saba Islamic Bank in Yemen. He holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Sana’a, Yemen, and a Master degree in Islamic Finance from (CIBAFI). He is also a Certified Financial Manager (CFM), USA.
Mr. Abdullatif is a Board member of Investrade and Chairman of its Audit Risk and Governance Committee. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Premier Group W.L.L. in Bahrain. Prior to that, he was Senior Director at Ernst & Young in Bahrain for many years. Prior to his time with Ernst & Young, Mr. Abdullatif served in numerous managerial position in the finance field with several reputable institutions. Mr. Abdullatif is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Mr. Raed is a Board member of Investrade and a member of its Executive Committee. He has over twenty years of business development and investment experience. He is a senior member of the Investment team at Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding since 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Raed was Head of Investments at Capivest in Bahrain focusing on real estate and technology investments. Prior to Capivest, Mr. Raed co-founded BDI Partners in 2010 and served as its Managing Director where he focused on consulting, business development and investments. Prior to that, he was with Bahrain Telecommunication Company (BATELCO) for almost a decade, where he was responsible for start-ups, and mergers & acquisitions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Raed spent three years with Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) as a Control Systems and Project Engineer. He is also a Non-Executive Independent Director of BATELCO since 2014. Mr. Raed holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from the University of Central Florida, and an Executive MBA from the University of Bahrain.
Mr. Maher is a Board member at Investrade and a member of its Audit Risk and Governance Committee. He is the General Manager, Board member and one of the founders of International Trading & Investment Company (ITICO) with more than forty years of experience in real estate, trading and F&B. Mr. Maher serves on numerous Boards such as Universal Contracting and Landscaping, Century 21, Enshaa Development Real Estate, and Gulf Touristic Projects. Mr. Maher holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and is a member of Egypt Society of Engineers.

Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Sultan
Originally from Germany, Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Al Sultan has almost a decade of experience as a Sharia consultant and has served clients around the world in a variety of industries ranging from banking institutes and financial services to corporate and private equity entities. Being able to converse in English, Arabic, Deutsche and Urdu, Sheikh Muhammad is well versed in Islamic Law and Fiqh (jurisprudence). Sheikh Muhammad has been authorised by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a Sharia Advisor.
Sheikh Waleed Al Mahmood began working in 1989 as a legal researcher at The Research and Legal Affairs Department at the General Organization for Social Insurance. After 10 years as a legal researcher, he joined the Sharia Supervision Department in Al Baraka Islamic Bank as a Manager. In 2005, he served as a Sharia Judge in the High Court at the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and in 2007 he served as a Member of the Sharia Supervisory Board in Al Baraka Islamic Bank. Sheikh Waleed is a member of the Islamic Society in Bahrain and has participated in various specialized Fiqh (jurisprudence) conferences and seminars, as well as provided numerous contributions to preaching and religious teaching in mosques in Bahrain. He received his Master’s degree in Sharia and Law from the American Open University in 2007.
Sheikh Dr. Salah is a Sharia scholar and an Assistant Professor at the Islamic & Arabic Studies College of Applied Studies at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has numerous research papers on various subjects within the field of Sharia and Islamic studies. Sheikh Dr. Salah holds a Masters degree from Al Imam University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a PhD from Edinburgh University, United Kingdom.
Haitham is the Chief Executive Officer of Investrade. He has two decades of experience in both Islamic and conventional banking and alternative investments. Prior to joining Investrade early in 2016, Haitham served as a Consultant with Gatehouse Bank in London. Prior to that, he was a Director with Credit Suisse AG covering private banking and asset management across the GCC region. Prior to that, Haitham was a Director with Arcapita covering its private and institutional shareholder and client base. Prior to Arcapita, he served in various managerial roles with BBK in Bahrain where his last position was Manager in the Bank’s Treasury and Investment Division. Haitham holds a Bachelor degree with Honors in Public Administration and Management from the University of Kent, UK, and an MBA from Durham Business School, Durham University, UK. Haitham is a member of the Association of MBAs (AMBA), UK.
Abdulla is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Investrade with approximately twenty years of experience in the financial and banking sector. Prior to joining Investrade in 2011, Abdulla was the Head of International Investments and Treasury of Saba Islamic Bank in Yemen. Prior to that, he was the Head of Treasury of Arab Bank in Yemen. Abdulla holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Sana’a, Yemen. He is also a Certified Financial Manager (CFM).
Silvan is a seasoned banker with over 25 years of banking experience where he served in various executive and managerial roles at several institutions in India and Bahrain. Silvan was Acting CEO at Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) and prior to that he was responsible for Risk and Credit Management and the entire support functions at KHCB. Prior to that, Silvan was the Executive Director and Head of Risk Management & Compliance at Gulf Finance House (GFH). Prior to that, he served at BBK for almost a decade as an RM and DCO in the Corporate Banking Division in Bahrain and later on as Head of Risk Management and Credit at BBK Kuwait. Prior to moving to Bahrain in 1996, Silvan worked at ICICI, ING Barings, and JK Synthetics Ltd in India. Silvan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a MSc. in Chemistry from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, India. He also holds an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management, India. Sivan is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), United States.
Derrick is the Head of Finance at Investrade with over twenty years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Investrade in 2012, Derrick served in various managerial positions in the fields of auditing, advisory, corporate finance, and management consultancy with large accounting firms in India and in Bahrain. He also served in financial institutions including KPMG, BDO and GFH in Bahrain. Derrick holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce from the University of Bombay, India and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (IMA), USA.
Ehsan is the Head of Investments at Investrade with over fifteen years in banking, investments, transaction advisory, market and financial assessment, and strategy projects across the MENA region. Prior to joining Investrade in 2016, Ehsan was a Senior Vice President of Investment and Corporate Finance with Kuwait Finance and Investment Company (KFIC) in Kuwait. Prior to that, he was a Manager in transaction advisory with Ernst & Young in Bahrain where he was responsible for feasibility studies, mergers and acquisitions, financial and commercial due diligence, and strategy formulation for businesses ranging from telecom, hospitality, and financial services. He also has extensive experience in international real estate with a focus on the USA market and served on the Boards of several listed and private companies. Ehsan holds a Bachelor degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Bahrain, and a Master degree in Business Administration from the Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, USA. He is also a Fulbright Scholarship recipient. Ehsan is also a qualified Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
Mai is the Head of Treasury and Capital Markets at Investrade. Prior to joining Investrade in 2013, Mai was a money market and foreign exchange Dealer in the Treasury Department of GFH where she was responsible for Islamic product placements, syndication, foreign exchange, fixed income portfolio management, securities trading, and funding. Mai holds a Bachelor degree in Marketing from the University of Bahrain and an Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance from the Bahrain Institute of Finance. She also qualifies as an Investment Representative holding Series 7 and Series 79 certifications. Mai is currently a CFA Level III candidate.
Nabeel is a senior banker with 20 years of banking experience and he served in various executive and managerial roles at several institutions in the region. Nabeel joined Investrade from Rasameel Structured Finance in Kuwait where he was a Consultant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to that, he was with Bank Alkhair (formerly known as Unicorn Investment Bank) as a Senior VP, Institutional Banking and Capital Markets for seven years. Prior to that, he was with UBS AG in Dubai where he served as an Associate Director – Distribution for 8 years. He started his career in 1996 with the Arab Investment Company (TAIC) in Bahrain. Nabeel holds an MBA from University of Bahrain, and a Bachelor degree in Business Management from Bangalore University, India.
Shaikha is responsible for the Executive Office of the CEO and COO as well as Corporate Management at Investrade. She oversees the functions of Human Resources and Administration in addition to supporting and maintaining client relationship and management. Shaikha has over twelve years of experience in the financial industry where she served at leading institutions such as Investcorp, Arcapita, Venture Capital and Kuwait Finance House. Shaikha joined Investrade in 2016. She holds a Bachelor degree in Business Informatics from AMA University, Bahrain.
Mohammed is a senior member of the Investment team at Investrade with 15 years of diverse experience in Islamic & conventional banking. Prior to joining Investrade in 2015, Mohammed started his career in 2000 where he served as an auditor with several firms and banks before joining Liquidity Management Centre Investment Bank (LMC) in 2006 as a member of the Debt Capital Market & Structured Finance team. During his 8 year tenure at LMC, Mohammed was responsible for all aspects of Islamic debt, including securitizations & hybrids, raising funds, structuring and restructuring activities, as well as reviewing equity related transactions. Mohammed holds a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) with Honors from DePaul University - Chicago (USA), and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Bahrain.
